Final Reflection

At the very start of joining the programme, I knew nothing about the digital world of art. I've always learned more towards traditional art eg. painting, sketching, sculpting etc. but I wanted to expand my capabilities by facing something that I felt would make me grow as a person and as an artist, even if it means I will fail or struggle along the way.

I won't lie, typography was and still is such a challenge for me since the beginning of the module, but it was certainly an enriching experience and learning curve. I struggled loads on learning the programs from scratch, using the multitude of tools that was given, working against time to complete assignments, coming up with ideas and so on but I'm proud of my improvements and that I was able to push through. I learnt so much more in a short span of time than I thought I was capable of and it introduced me to a different & much necessary side of art, which is typography. I learnt how free-flowing this field can be, and how this modules fundamentals can be applied to my future career as an artist.

Big props to Mr. Vinod and Dr. Charles for guiding me and pushing me to be a better version of myself, looking forward to learning from your knowledge in the near future. The feedback was incredibly helpful in my journey of self-growth.
